With the sudden surge in popularity for Bernie Sanders, I decided to check out the polls to see how he does among black voters. I had read that he had a bit of a problem with them, and indeed, he does. But, then I noticed something stark and unexpected: he has a HUGE gap among women. This is important to take note of and might pose a bit of a problem for the socialist Senator from Vermont.
A 2012 oped in the LA Times noted that, with one exception, the eventual nominee in both parties had won either in Iowa or New Hampshire. Had Ron Paul won in Iowa (he almost did, and did among men), he would have had a stronger shot at the nomination. Indeed, he came in second in New Hampshire, and a win in Iowa could have propelled that towards a win, pulling Romney to a halt. Instead, Romney won both and the rest was a slow death.
Surely, I have gone mad to even suggest Bernie Sanders become president. With the socialist of Jewish descent rising in the polls against Hillary, the odds have increased a bit. He has even come within shouting distance of her in the key opening primaries in Iowa and New Hampshire. If he wins Iowa, he probably would win New Hampshire. And suddenly he would prove a formidable opponent to Hillary. Not bad for the former small-town mayor.
Governor Scott Walker (R-Wis)
I have previously stated on the Facebook page that I prefer Scott Walker to Rand Paul for a few reasons. I have previously highlighted a few concerns about Rand, and difficulties he would face. Walker is a popular two-term governor, who also faced down a recall forced by socialist activists. He has implemented right to work (which is debated by libertarians), hampered the government unions, cut spending, focused on increasing ONLY private sector jobs, and absolutely infuriated socialists nationwide. As governor of a state Republicans have come close to winning in three of the past four elections, it is a crucial swing state. Along with that, his local starpower could swing Iowa and Minnesota.
Before I start, I have to disclaim that what follows is complex and difficult. I need to make clear that this is the writing of conflicted thought. In college, I was an African studies minor (I did not graduate) and took a few semester of Swahili, as well as other cultural courses. I have enjoyed the great musical contributions of blacks in Western countries from Louis Armstrong to Nico and Vinz. Whether soul and gospel, or jazz, or blues, early rock and roll, funk, hiphop, rap, and more. You almost cannot find music in America that does not have massive influence from Africa. I have supported and continue to support black nationalist and black separatist movements, which some of my SJW friends see as racist (nevermind that they do the same). If I were to do the same for whites, people would be offended and terrified. I obviously support Jewish nationalism and separatism, which also gets mixed reviews in the world.
Bernie Sanders
Bernie Sanders, an apostate Jew and Independent US Senator from Vermont, recently announced that he would be running for president in 2016 as a Democrat. Sanders has long caucused with the Democrats, despite not running as one. Complementing that, the Democrats dont run candidates against him in Vermont. Sanders does not really expect to win, but as a titan of the far-left, he hopes to give frontrunner Hillary Clinton some things to think about.
Well, the exit polls are in and there are a few surprises for sure. I have put them into a table for easy reading, along with the final prediction from Knesset Jeremy (KJ), who does an average of the polls, along with some sort of proprietary modelling to adjust for momentum. Finally, I averaged the three exit polls (Channels 1, 2, 10), which we can consider my calculated “prediction” (AVG). The actual results will shift a bit in the coming week or so as absentee ballots are tabulated.
One huge weakness with Rand Paul that Obama has also is that he is a senator and has no executive experience. This can lead to cronyism, terrible decisionmaking, and incompetence. Andrew Jackson would be another example (save that one exception we admire). This gives me a little discomfort and would make Gary Johnson a stronger candidate. I am still annoyed at him for not running for Senator, but if he ran as a Republican*, I could support him.
